Sunrays were so cheap the rattled in a still room. MW did have Tappan make ranges for them at times in the 70s and Westinghouse at times in the 60s, but not all models were necessarily made by the same manufacturer in a given year.
This was diffidently a Sunray, I would have to give these the top POS award, the bad thing was the electric models would actually last if they were never used as this one appears not have been used, at least the gas ones would self destruct in less than ten years from the inside out from the corrosive vapors given off by the constant burning pilots, the cook-tops would actually disintegrate from the bottoms.
