bought myself a early Christmas present a 1963? Lady Kenmore 800 washer in coppertone
picked it up yesterday she lights up like a Christmas tree thats the machine I have wanted for sooooooooo long did a dry test spin on her she did fine ramped up real fast and quiet. LOve the dashboard lights SO happy

I grew up with a 1960 Model 80 Kenmore and took it for granted. Now, I think Kenmores from that era are pretty cool.

'63 Coppertone?

I have a '64 800 Kenmore with "matching" LK dryer in Coppertone-- I thought 1964 was the first year for Coppertone? Just curious...

Regardless, Dynaflow, you have an awesomely beautiful machine!! Thank you for sharing and good luck with the pump and fill valve...

That is a sweet machine-

Hopefully you will be able to find the original rotating style bleach/softener dispenser cup for the machine. It also has an interior tub light for when the lid is raised on the machine.

On the slow fill- check to make sure the water inlet screens aren't clogged up with sediment. Clean the screens if they are clogged. If they are clean, replacing the water valves is an easy enough job if you are looking to increase the water flow into the machine.

i love the lettering on the push buttons and from what i can tell, the timer dial/control knob looks really cool too!!! i would love to see a picture of the timer dial/control knob to get a better view of it.
