Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Whoa, I think you may have taken offense at comment in the above post, Toggle. I didn't mean to imply you post frivolously or too often! I enjoy all your posts. You've contributed a lot of fun as well as information to the site and I appreciate that. I was just commenting (with humor) that you don't strike me as a quiet personality. Sorry if that didn't come across well in my post.

Killing washing machines

hehe - i have attempted this before in the past and sucessuly killed one of our old indesit machines (i so regret it now - it had everything a washer lover loves, fun programs high rinse levels), but yea i wanted to sabotage it so mum would get a new one - i washed a shag pile rug in it, that fell apart during the cycle - it totaly wasted the machine! - could work in a t/l though they are heavy duty machines and tend to be pretty tough!!

Newer Frigidaire Sounds Like Old Competition

In those video demos, that newer Frigidaire sort of reminds me of the old Frigidaire ads with the comparison between the Frigidaire washer of that golden era against the back and forth stroking "ratchity" model. Except, that the newer Frigidaire demo (especially with the heavier load), displays a similarly ratchity, grunting sound. No offense to the machine's owner, but this is my observation.--Laundry Shark

LOL

Eugene, I took no offense at all! Have no fear. (I gotta watch those sweetie-darlings!) It was not meant to be NASTY at ALL!
I too hope that you were not offended or bothered by my words.

My post was inteded to be VERY light-hearted and fun. Interesting how we all have to be careful in that tone (in writing) does not always convey!

Thank you kindly for your concern. You are my hero. Are we still "ON" for doing the memoirs?
