Today's POD is a Kenmore dryer ad that promises the same type of paint on the dryer as a $7,000 car...
One reaction, is from the part of me that is fully in 2019, and thus conscious of current pricing, and which thinks a $7,000 car is nothing to get excited about. Except, perhaps, if one could even exist today...
Another part of me, though, is aware that $7,000 went a lot further once...and that part is now wincing at how high prices have gone up, thanks to inflation.
I also wonder if some women got their husbands to help with laundry by saying: "You'll love using the dryer--it has the same paint as that new car you keep eyeing!" LOL
