Note in the text where it says it never "squeezes" water through the clothes. I wonder if they are running from the legacy of the Philco-Bendix Rubber Tub Washers or if it is just another flavor of solid tub washer-speak.

They also mention slow spin acceleration. Is this mechanism similar to a Beam machine's fluid drive?

Were these washers from before Philco took over Bendix? The ad has a kind of early Fifties look to it.
