POD 12/26/10 Maytag gas HOH

"Visit the Festival of Gas Pavilion at the World's Fair."

With all the different foods, rushed eating and other distuptions, I'm sure not just one pavilion could claim to be the festival of gas at the fair.

More on topic, this dryer shows a dark porcelain with white specks. When did Maytag switch to gray porcelain for the drum and door liner? Thank you.

I don't recall seeing a gray porcelain drum & door liner until after the HOH redesign in '66 models.

My '65 DE-750 drum has the dark/white speckles while my '66 DE-806 has the glassy smooth gray porcelain drum.

It's a shame Maytag didn't continue porcelain coated drums into the 08 series and beyond.
