As we pause to commemorate Pearl Harbor, we think of lives of honorable men and women lost in defense of our country.
I guessing that the 9 year old machine mentioned in the ad was an AMP maybe with the problem with the insulation around the wires in the lid getting brittle and causing the components in the lid to not move freely anymore. If only Maytag had gone with a timed fill system they could have had an adjustable water level from the get go and less trouble, too.
I go through the West Hyattsville Station twice a day. That area, like so much of central Prince George's County, was heavily affected by white flight in the 60s. This family probably did not live there for many more years.
