The last Hurrah for Frigidaire before WCI acquires it. Things have changed up to that point and they will be changing even more in the appliance industry in years to come.

A, yes, ingenious way of washing clothes that has yet to be used in washers, today!

Nice to have been given something with that feature back then--even if, yeah, it had to be a Frigidaire...!

What was the color called on those washers? Thought the color was different, though I personally didn't care much for it, certainly was very 70's. lol. Those washers certainly looked heavy duty, could hold a lot of clothes. It would be interesting to do a side by side comparison with the 20 lb Norge, and Kenmores dual action agitator to check turn over rate and cleanliness of the loads. Think after that model things went down hill for Frigidaire. That model was a loud washer, but I liked the jet spray system.

<span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;">I can still remember the Factory-Trained service guys in the shop gossiping like old ladies in a beauty parlor..."Did you hear?" General Motors is selling Frigidaire to a sewing machine company!"</span>
