This is what the American Motors headquarters in Detroit looked like in November of 2020. So sad.

Has the AMC building been demolished?Should be saved as a landmark.

As with so much else in Detroit former AMC Headquarters was looted, ransacked, stripped, and let to rot and ruin. Much of this occurred under watch of successive owners who bought the property with ulterior motives.

Sadly yes, former AMC headquarters is slated for demolition, if hasn't happened already.

The mile-long Packard factory closed in 1956 or 57 and is crumbling. Water got into the steel reinforcing rods in the concrete.
