POD 8/14/20: Speed Queen Washer

Can one of our knowledgeable Speed Queen enthusiasts tell me what year today’s POD was produced? I want to say it’s either a 1957 or 1959.

I like the way the control clusters are placed on the consoles—the right end on the washer; the left end on the dryer. Made it possible to set the controls on both washer and dryer without moving a single step, lol.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can clarify the model year for me.

It sure looks like a 57 to me!  I have one just like it.

Had a 1959 Speed Queen washer and matching dryer set in my first apartment. The washer did have strong-sounding banging solenoids and could have spun faster. The set was attractive, easy to use, and did a good job on my laundry.
