Been kinda fascinated with Item "E"' the red Waring Melamine Blender. I have never heard or seen anything like it. Im sure it was short lived because of the opaque blender jar. How would you know if your contents is blended?

Im sure you could not make any frozen drinks requiring ice. Doesnt melamine crack when it gets brittle and cold?

Its pretty, but its a good example of form over function. Im sure thats why it was not popular.

The one I have is beige, instead of red.

It is very good for beverages without ice, and for salad dressings. The big drawback is that the carafe is not detachable for cleaning. It's small for the soups I make.

Remember this-Was a FLOP!!Jar fixed to the motor-and not transparent. And as some point out-jar made from Melamine which is fragile when exposed to hot-cold.With stainless steel jars bartenders and I can tell when the blending is done-no clattering of solid ingredients such as ice or frozen fruit.Just a smooth sound---DONE!!

This "blender" was probably more about mixing cocktails than serious cooking prep.  Another pretty appliance appropriate to serve at the bar or table?
