I don't remember seeing this add before,  is it new to the rotation?

Anyway, really neat looking TOL machines, is there any chance anyone has a photo that better shows the control panel?  I'm really curious about what controls are behind the lid and also what the dials are for on top of the control panel.

Does anyone know anything about these?   What year they?

Thanks!

Kevin

Ah yeah I guess that's what happens when you don't check the photo of the day, daily.

I don't think there have been any "new" photos added to the POD library in years.

Has anyone ever seen one of these TOL Easy's?

Good eye Greg!

The King's look like they have been discussing why she does not have the matching dryer as of yet....

Or perhaps some of the "dirty laundry" he was rumored to have accumulated over the years.

I did have an Easy machine at one time, back in the 70's. I believe it was about '65 or '66 vintage, judging by the style of the backsplash console. It looked much like many of the machines designed of that era and did have a lighted console. The tub was stainless steel with an aluminum spiralator agitator and reminded me much of a speed queen tub. It had a rather novel design I think, it had the motor mounted sideways and had something similar to the direct drive whirlpools with the plastic pieces and rubber that engage to make it operate. I had never seen anything quite like it and when the engage piece broke, I had no idea what was wrong with it. Fortunately I have learned more since I was 16 years old. As I remember it, later on Easy machines were rebadged Hotpoint machines in the late 60's and possibly early 70's.
