POD for 07NOV2021 - Apex spriral dasher...question

Hello everybody,
Question about that interesting "spiral dasher" in the Apex. I know at least a couple of members are familiar with the machine, and I'd like to know how well that agitator design works. It appears to me that it would work very well...thoughts?

That is a beautiful agitator

Here is a video of an Apex wringer washer with a similar agitator. It seems to provide efficient action, looks like good turnover although not a full load of clothes are in it.

I've never seen an Apex automatic with that agitator, nor heard of anyone who has. I think these lower priced agitator models were produced towards the end of Apex so not too many were made. It would be very cool to see one in action. It is a very cool looking agitator.

My grandmother had an old Apex wringer in her basement with a spiral dasher when I was a kid. She did not use it as they had installed a Norge automatic in the kitchen, so I never got to see it operate. I was fascinated with the unusual design of the spiral dasher.
