Now that's what I'm talkin' about. Rotoracks, pushbuttons and a hot housewife that I wouldn't leave desperate (did I just say that?)

Nothing but a Lady for my lady.

Sexy Lady K.

That pose!

In harvest gold.

I think it was just one year that they offered a version of this model that came in your choice of 120 volt or 240 volt. I guess as a faster way of heating water for that hygenic rinse.

Still, that pushbutton control (auto advancing timer) with a lighted console (uses 2 bulbs) and the cycle progression lights are what every little boys dreams are made of. I want one! I want one!

Actually I have come accross 3 of these "back in the day", 2 portable and 1 built in. With subtle variations. The timer was either mounted on the control panel or was mounted underneathe, also there is a little switch you can't see in the picture, mounted next to the button section that gave you a choice of temperature for the hygenic rinse. in later models, if I am not mistaken, the switch was instead used for a energy saver selection(no heat dry)

Those control panels, especially with the timer attached, weighed alot. all metal. You can buy an entire dishwasher now that doesn't weigh as much.

What a nice way to start Saturday morning. With a big harvest gold, roto-rack shaped happy face.
(alright, clearly I'm loosing it, or it's already long gone, someone call the ASPCA, this mutt needs help !)

I have that exact dishwasher !

YAY for roto-racks! I found her at a garage sale. She had a hose leak. Ordered one and fixed that problem. I had fun playing with her for awhile. The sani-cycle is fun. Her timer stalls until the correct temperature is reached and then it begins moving again. Dishes were so hot at the end of the cycle I could not touch them! <p> Now she is leaking water above the motor. I have a repair manual. Maybe one day I will get the motivation to tackle this next problem. I am hoping it will be a pretty easy thing. I follow directions well.

POD LADY KENMORE

The first d/w i bought my mom was the execat same machine, she loved it.After many years of service i bought her a K-A but she wanted her Lady Kenmore back.

I hate to disagree with you-- in that it absolutely made my dreams..I would think only CERTAIN :-) little boys were excited by machines.....aren't we all here "SPECIAL?" LOL

Actually this POD is a cross between Moms 68/69 LK TOL and her 1973 MOL. I has more lights and indicaors than a space-ship! [they moved to a new house with no DW and bought the second one for it.]

JMIRAWM- be careful pls. should you seal the leak.. certain sealants are hugely toxic. I read horror stories about someone who used an aquarium sealant on a DW gasket and did permanent damage to the health of his entire family.

She IS a beauty !

The top looks as though the solid butcherblock top it has a nice polyurehtane sealant. So often people let them dry out and they warp.

Well if you need help fixing that pump, I would be happy to help.

Racks are in good condition I wonder if they are the original.

Thanks again for the pix. :o)

YAY

I miss hearing and seeing Rotorack dishwashers. Seeing the insides brought back so many memories.

Now I can't decided on a DW for my house, a vintage KA or Lady K. Hmmm.. Maybe BOTH!
