Polylube for Maytag question

Is the polylube I find on ebay the same as whats sold by Whirlpool for use on Maytag damper pads?

Poly-lube

There is nothing very special about PL, you just need a lubricant that is safe to use on plastics, in the case of the damper pads the plastic is polyester. Auto parts stores usually have better and less expensive products for repairing and restoring appliances.

Thanks for the info. Didn't find any info here on using anything else other than polylube. So I guess white lithium grease would be okay as that is described as safe for plastics.

I believe Combo means something along the lines of Silicone Dielectric tune-up/brake caliper grease.

White Lithium grease still contains some oils and tends to dry out over time, not a good choice for damper pads in my opinion.
