I'm looking to buy one since I have a small windfall gift card from Sprawl-Mart. I have two 10 x 10 that are not pop-up and would possibly like to get one that's easy-up style. Does anyone have direct experience with any of the ones they sell? There are so many, with varying reviews that I take with a grain of salt. This is one I'm looking at (link below). It'll be used 304 x a year, most likely.

Thanks!
Chuck

I have used them

They work well, but are heavy and cumbersome. You will need 4 people to put them, or take them down easily. They are convienent when shade is needed.

We bought this one from Wally World for a party we hosted this summer.  For the price, its pretty nice, although i see it's on clearance now, I paid full price.  It worked out great and it's a 12x12. Big enough for 2 banquet tables and 12 chairs.   Fairly easy to put up and take down, although I don't think it's any match for  gusty thunderstorm..

We used to always use these at the race track for shade and to keep rain off the motorcycles and tools etc. Typically we used a larger one (12x12'). I never found it that hard to erect, but it is darn difficult to do alone (have seen it done though).

Be sure to anchor it well when it is up though. They can go air born in a a brief 20mph wind gust

Thanks, guys!

Jim, that one on clearance looks like a great deal and the reviews are good, but I'm leaning more toward straight legs and no larger than 10 x 10. Sometimes the footprint of the area where it'll need to be won't accommodate, say, 12 x 12 for a 10 x 10 slant-leg shelter.
