The wheels make it more expensive. We can't be sure about the photography, but the color looks more terra cotta than poppy.

I was always surprised that Poppy never took off, but I think kitchen fashion changed abruptly when the Eighties began. I wish I could find pictures to post here of the General Motors Frigidaire showroom on their building's mezzanine in the Seventies. It was all magnificent but the Poppy kitchen display was an eye-catcher. It had their TOL side by side, a ceramic-top single-oven stove and the TOL 1-18 washer and dryer. I wish I had seen the showroom before the Rollermatics were gone.
The GE showroom on 42nd street was more to the point, just appliances from wall to wall; Combo's museum reminded me of it the time I saw it.
