Don't know the brand, but it sure looks WCI-built. Man, that protruding control panel, sharp door latch lever and dial would not be easy to live with. It's sort of another case of trying to compensate for lack of quality inside by adding lots of gingerbread outside.

I had two my Jr. year of college--one in the apt. with the terrace-top range and the one without the terrace range.  It cleaned very well and I was amazed at just how much the bottom rack held, especially if you paid attention to how the bottom was loaded.  I vaguely remember JohnL commenting the original Westinghouse pump design/whatever was patterned after the KA14 or KA15 series.

The next design from WCI was actually a pretty good dishwasher in the step-up model(from the very late 80s). They had a basic and a step-up with filtering. I had one in an apartment (with a harvest gold early 70s Westinghouse stove) which was pretty good. They had particularly good racks in the bottom rack, very convenient and held a lot...you can see it a bit here in the picture with the broiler pan--they had very short tines in the first two rows which would support a 9x13 pan flat or some deeper bowls so you didn't have to lean them and waste space.
