Actully I would love to see a very very mini F/L as a machine for dainty unmentionables.
Sort of on the level/size of that Miele "toy" we saw in another posting.

The Whirlpool link says it has a 1 HP motor. Seems to me you could run a conventional TL with a motor like that. Hmm.

I would imagine that detergent would be added by the tablespoon, and softener by the drop!

So it would replace my (former) 10 pound compact T/L washer nicely. IIRC that was a KM 20 x 20 x 32 inches (w x d x h)

Quick, let's start a business importing these to replace T/L compact machnines!
They should do well on the east-end of Long Island, New York and Cape Cod, Massachussetts where water and space is scarce and the eco-system (in these remote vacation communitites) is very delicate.
