Anybody been to Disney's MGM studios and ate at the 50's Prime time Cafe? It's set up inside to look just like the interior of a typical fifties style home. The booths where you eat are actually fifties era kitchen tables surrounded by kitchen cabinets, and all sorts of mid-cetury styling that resembles the traditional kitchen you remember mom cooking dinner in. The booths also have TV's at them that play clips from old TV shows. the menu consists of traditional "comfort foods" and also has a "Dad's Liquor Cabinet" section. If you put your elbows on the table, or use other bad manners "Mom" (the waitress)will fuss at you, otherwise, she will entertain you with all sorts of fifties folklore and humor!

I was down there last month, and when I read about this in the travel guide, I HAD to make sure I ate there, and the experience was definitely one to remember!

It is really a fun place. We go to Disney every two years and that is one of our regular stops.

Yes I have been there many times, It is great place to see some old appliances. Also don't forget the Carousel of Progress in the Margic Kingdom. It has lots of old appliances also. We just made our reservation to go back down there. have been there almost 20 times.
