::PROGRESS UPDATE::

The drum is in!! Yesterday I reinstalled and centered the cylinder drum assembly. Next is finding and installing the motor.

My program is still developing and still has problems, with the board I made, now designing a new board with a different micro controller on it.

Lee:
I have not gotten to the programming part yet. I'm slowly still gathering parts. I'm also looking into a few other machines to start on(that machine or machines are still a secret). Parts can sure be expensive!! Especially industrial/commercial control modules and special 3 phase motors. Have you tried any PLC modules?

I’m strictly domestic and most of the parts are from scrap machines with exception to the motor which is new and cost over £100. Saving for a new PIC programmer which costs about £60 so I can try using bigger micro controller, which will have more options and hold bigger program, then going to try and etch a PCB. I have lost count how much I have spent so far.

I lost count when I spent $100 on an Allen Bradley SLC500 DEVICENET Scanner module for the user interface screen. The total that I have spent on this project so far has to be over $500.
