Princess House Crystal

I was just wondering if any of you have ever seen or own or collect Princess House Crystal and China?  I'd never heard of it until I met Tony.  He has a large collection of the crystal and I have a small matching china set.  The Heritage crystal pattern is our favorite.  The Fantasia pattern is perfect for Christmas because it's poinsettias.  I've included a link to some glasses with the heritage pattern on them.  We find most of our pieces at Goodwill and thrift stores as well as ebay for the hard to find items.

I have hosted Princess House parties several times years and years ago.  I still have lots of pieces,  Irish coffee mugs, vases, etc. I even have a set of their cookware with detachable handles!

 

My Mom's good china is Princess house from the 50's.... Sweet Briar I believe is the pattern.  It's pretty but a little to "girly" for me so it's still in the cupboard back at home.

 

Good luck in your search for more PH....it shows up in a lot of places.

I am glad you brought this up...

I have a few pieces, pitchers and some tall drinking glasses, and I suppose a cake plate or platter...

And I never knew what it was, just found it at a thrift shop one day...I don't remember but I didn't pay much.

I thought that etching of designs was really cool.

Yeah the etched Heritage pattern is our favorite.  Tony has some livingroom lamps with 3 glass tubes each having the etched blossom on each tube; some baking dishes, some serving pots with lids, many MANY glasses and candle holders, some vases, two crystal clocks, champagne glasses, wine glasses, iced tea glasses, irish coffee mugs, cereal bowls, plates, saucers, margarita glasses, paperweights, trinket trays, a pie server, a cake stand, tea pitcher, juice pitcher, two big serving trays, chip and dip server, ice buckets, a Christmas ball, and a coaster...all with that etched blossom on them and most from Goodwill or thrift stores.  Then there's the poinsettia Fantasia pattern, but we don't have as much of it.   Princess house is still in business and now sells stainless cookware with the etched glass lids.
