hmm inyeresting one this one, try blowing down the outlet pipe with no water in the machine other than the water in the sump, make sure the tub to pump hose isn't kinked...........
I don't know what the flow rate of these magnetic pumps is, but a standard shaded pole pump will pump out my hoover 1100 from high level (half way up the door) in just over a minute. maybe the impellor on the magnetic pump is not big enough for the job, pity you haven't a shaded pole pump to try out
You may get a bit of suds lock if the machine is spinning a very absorbant load but this should clear.
Also as already mentioned make sure the fitting on the drain is big enough, on mine when it was first fitted I didn't bother trimming back the inlet tupe that the hose goes on, only to find pump outs were taking a long time, I then removed the hose from the push on end and noticed the tube was ribbed and like a cone, untrimmed it had a tiny hole for the water to flow through, so I cut it back as far as I could and that allowed more water to flow through it, that cured that problem.
