Has anyone seen this around recently? I had the pleasure of smelling this stuff at the Texas Wash-In in December and I really liked the smell. It sort of reminded me of the smell of vintage Oxydol, though not nearly as nice (I don't think anything can compare to vintage Oxydol). I would love to get my hands on some of this, but I can't seem to find it in my area.

It seems now they have replaced it with the new formulation that "Whitens Whites, Brightens Colors" and is not sold as a separate formulation, at least where I live.

Austin, can you still get it down where you live? I'll be heading down to College Station and Houston next weekend, and would love to pick some up if I knew where to buy it.

Sure! I can get it at our Brookshire Bros. store here. I threw the rest of that box away...even though the smell is nice it leaves "detergent dust" in the washtub. Not to mention that it becomes hard to scoop after a while and likes to stick together.

If you can't find it up there, want me to send a box your way?

Purex

Check out the Purex website....www.purex.com. I don't know about all areas, but it sure does seem like Purex makes a lot of products that are not available here....

Bob, I did NOT think the 1-18 dryer was "trash"...it was just that I only had a certain amount of room in the Studio. That space is now occupied by the AMP, and soon the Dispensall will be in there as well.

Now the Purex on the other hand...;-)
