Who was the first manufacturer to implement blocked wash arm sensing tech?

I suspect you are correct. Did Kitchenaid ever have such a thing?

KitchenAid never had this feature on any of it's models.   I think only the GE had it, but I could be wrong.  I've never seen it on any other machine.

Miele Should Have It

It is so easy for items to fall through their badly designed lower racks and block thew lower wash arm, My partner Jason has a 6 YO Miele DW and complains how badly designed the racks are and how little it holds compared to a standard tub WP PC DW that he had last.

My Miele has sensing for both middle and lower wash arm blockage. I guess GE is the only other manufacturer to offer a genius feature.

recall a mid 90's T-O-L Maytag offered this as well. Perhaps Drew (Red Carpet Drew) can confirm.
