I have been watching reruns of Adam-12 on Antenna TV lately and noticed a fridge in the police station break room, it's curved on the top like an early 50's fridge, but it looks sort of like a french door fridge except on the bottom there are 2 smaller doors and not a slide out freezer drawer. Does anyone know who made this oddity?

ROFLMAO....

He distracts me too,I had forgotten about him until antenna TV started airing the show, if you do happen to be undistracted it's on the right wall of their break room...at least right on your TV screen.

I'll have to watch for it on antenna TV here.  The fridge does sound like an unusual one.

I think most of the extra channels pulled in over the air can also be found on cable or satellite systems.  They're usually way up in the nosebleed section of the channel line-up.

@rp2813

Antenna TV IS a cable channel, it's called that because they air old shows that were on before cable tv..Adam 12, The Monkees, The Partridge Family, Good Times, Dragnet, Father Knows Best etc. etc. etc....on Time Warner Cable in NYC it's channel 166....as for the fridge it must have not been popular as it's the only one I've ever seen.

My time warner cable doesn't offer it on any tier.  I was always a Martin Milner kinda guy, all the waqy back to his days on Route 66.

@appnut

That's strange because I have the most basic of basic cable (I'm one step up from a piece of foil wrapped around a set of rabbit ears)and I get it. It's possible we get it here because Timeless Wonder has a lot of competition in NYC.

We have one of the extra appearances of Channel 20 here that runs old TV shows, but I don't think it's Antenna TV that they're piping in.  I'll have to check.

Thanks for clarifying.

You're welcome, Vincent! I sat down to watch Episode 2 on my iPad and about two minutes into the program, there it was. I paused the video, took a screen shot, and posted it.

Thanks, Hans, for the identification.

Once again, the AW family works together to solve a mystery. I love this site.
