Question about early 60's Maytag colors

Whirlpool NG color code, is New Harvest or non shaded harvest gold.

When (what year) did they start offering Sunny Yellow as part of the available color options?



Was it available at the same time as the other colors or was it introduced later?



For example, was it available in 1962?

My dad worked at Western Auto and brought my Mother the yellow one as a surprise in 1963 or 1964. She was using an old washer with a wringer on the top that you used then put the clothes in a tub of rinse water. All this on the back porch.
She refused to use the new one because it was YELLOW and they were married for 25 years and he STILL didn’t know she hated yellow.
She told him if he couldn’t replace it, just save it for me when I moved out.
And he did.
You could not tear that thing up. I used it for 10 years then gave it to an old boyfriend to put in a rental proper. I bet it’s still working. Haha

I would guess yes, but don't recall seeing one, Sears would have been more likely to have sold some.
