I bought some All pods Original . I have never used these ever for clothes
I have always used Miele Ultra White powder and the Miele for Colors .
I have always loved it cleans wonderful and smells great. If I could not get that I
would buy German Persil from Amazon.
A table spoon is all I would need and everything is great .
I wanted to try something a little cheaper everything that can go wrong has.
My Heat pump was destroyed by a Tech, My Dishwasher died , My Almost 3 year old I have to keep resetting.
I was replacing a leaking Hot water valve under my sink and I did not know they Soldered the metal valve to the copper and when I torqued it , I broke it off in the wall and it flooded and soaked my wall behind my sink.
I am trying to cut some costs , I have totally wiped out my savings so much that I had to use my Credit card to get my plumbing fixed and I never use Credit cards where I don't pay it off at the first of every month.,
I had a load of Towels that were very dirty from all the nasty water I was sopping up and the towels don't smell good thats with two pods in the washer . The stains are in there still also..
My Sister told me that going cheap on detergents is a waste of time cause you have to use so much more .
I had to rewash all my towels and I used 3 this time and used hot water instead of warm .
I wash full loads when I wash, Is there any brand that washes good and is reasonable in cost? I know nothing about these things..
My Mom is who turned me onto Miele or Persil detergent Powder .
Also there is like No suds or anything in the washer . It just looks like water .
Do all of these Pod type Laundry detergent suck?

Is that what you use Bob? This is the first time I have ever used Pod anything save for Dishwasher detergent.
I just looked at my load that I have washed twice and its dingy and does not smell clean to me.
If I have to use Two or four of those things all the time then there is no point in changing detergent.
I loaded up a Identical load I had so much water flood and my sheet rock wall fell apart the towels were nasty bad.
I used one heaping table spoon of Miele White Powder and everything is perfect.
Thanks :)

Cracked open a box of Miele Ultra White Powder

That has been sitting in my stash for some time now; and must say I quite fancy it.

Scent in box is a clean almost vintage smell, but hardly noticeable on wash when line or tumble dried. It does not make much if any suds, and rinses clean. Results wise is on par with Persil from Germany, so that's saying something.

In no way would consider All (a bottom or maybe middle shelf product) remotely in same league as Miele detergents, especially the Ultra-White formula.

Unless am mistaken none of All's detergents contain enzymes. If they do certainly not the complex formula seen in Miele's powders. Secondly being a liquid format All's pods won't contain bleaching agents.

Find All's liquid detergent for allergy suffers an ok product for lightly soiled things; bed linens, bath linens, clothing worn once and or otherwise not very soiled or stained. Would suggest their pods are about the same level....

Don't be fooled by All's claims of "stain lifters". All has never even ranked in same category as Tide detergent, so shouldn't expect it to match Miele either.

In general, I've found pods to be too much "soap" for FL washers and today's economy-minded dishwashers. Lots of service calls for dishwashers because of them- the suds fool the drain system, the plastic "baggie" sometimes doesn't dissolve 100% and clogs the holes in the spray arms, residue on the dishes, etc.

I use All liquid Free & Clear since Sears Free powder is no longer. I haven't noticed a major difference, but we do pretreat with Spray & Wash as needed.

Wes, I went through a phase where I used Persil Liquid but it caused such intense suds when washing towels, jeans, and smilar heavy cotton items that I'd get a suds error on my WP Duet (which I'd never gotten before). I loved the performance of Persil, but couldn't deal with all the excess suds. I got some Persil Pods to get me through towel loads. Now I just use Tide Ultra Stain Release liquid.

I haven't found pods that foamy, but they're certainly a one-size-fits-all dose which can be a bit high if you're in soft-water areas.

The main issue I have with them is that a lot of front loaders throw solid items onto the door seal, which is great if it's a button, coin, our car keys or whatever, but if it's the detergent pod it's a sticky mess and doesn't get dissolved properly.

If you have to use them, put them at the back of the machine, before you load any laundry. If you've a machine that isn't very pod friendly, find a white cotton sock and put the pod inside. That guarantees it will get dragged into the water and dissolve rapidly. Alternatively, or perhaps better, put the pod into one of those laundry net bags.

Personally, I'm not a fan of pods.

Concerning liquid All Free & Clear, have found that it does clean better than the original version. Bought a bottle of the original a while back and couldn't stand the smell of it, plus it didn't clean as well as the Free & Clear version. Recently bought a bottle of Tide and I don't care for the scent at all so I try to use it sparingly, extra rinses too. It seems once I got used to the Free & Clear it's hard going back to a scented version of any detergent, plus they can break me out, make it itch quite easily. Aging can be hell.

All Free & Clear is my go-to daily driver. I haven't tried the Tide Free & Gentle, it may be better, but noticed it is certainly more expensive. I do miss the detergents of my youth, but wonder now if my skin could handle them!!
Just my 2 cents!!!
