What market website did you post for buying persil or? it was cheap for what it was... It was an irsali store i think... Hmmmm could order online

No problem...with two caveats...

I never ordered online from them myself. The company had a store in Brooklyn I sometimes shopped at, that rarely had it in stock.

Also...bear in mind that these bags are is the "Made In Israel" version, which is not as good as the original "Made In Germany" formula. Even though it is formulated for Israel's rock-hard water conditions (or perhaps because of it), I found that it does not dissolve nearly as well as Miele's European version does, and is rougher on dyes. But they all have a nice fragrance.

If I was in that store again and they had it, I probably wouldn't buy it again, based on the fact that the dissolving problems occurred on several occasions, in hot water, and on my Whirlpool's rather robust "heavy" cycle.

I'd advise springing for the original German version at your local Miele dealer or on Ebay first. I've noticed since going "low-suds" that its performance is almost flawless, and you use so little per wash.

Anyhoo, whatever you do, good luck!

Hi Chad---German Persil is a great detergent; It came in 2nd only to Quixtar's (formerly Amway) SA8 in my stain removal tests from a few months back.

Here's where I get mine. It's not cheap, but service is quick. It's the version with the scent of fresh rosemary----very unlike any other detergent. You'll love it. It's worth the bank.

Cheers!

Excellent product. Low-sudsing. You use miniscule amounts, compared to American HE products.

The fragrance of Persil Color liquid reminds me of Davidoff "Cool Water" cologne, but is not overpowering.

The Persil products in general seem to excel at rinsing clean.
