Hey all!

I got my junior 115 out of storage! YAY! FINALLY! Long over-excited anxious waiting over. A new favorite in the collection is in my house now!
Moved some machines into storage (Conquest, Atlas, Filter queen 33, Hoover 1060, tristar)

Forgot to tell my friend to tag along the hoover 65 but that will be for next time!

(ALSO BROUGHT THE Sunbeam mixmaster home! I know how to service it now, thanks to Greg!)

Ranting over. :P

Anyways. Now that I have the junior home, I need some more belts for it. The belt in it is ok, but could be replaced.

Anyone know where I can find them? Do all junior belts work on it? Ebay maybe? I just want to make sure I get the right one.

IM sure odowds might have some, maybe if I have no luck with ebay, I will check there.

Here is a picture. STILL dont have a proper picture of it! This is when it was at Ben's place in Iowa.

Junior Belts...

Hey Brandon

Your 115 is the same as our 119 and uses the standard round Junior belt used over here on every model from the 119 to the U1012 so every Junior/Lark you had will use the same belt.
They are still current over here so if you cant find any over there check Ebay UK ;).

Thank you Seamus! I figured there might have been little change in the belt design, but I wanted to be sure!

:)

Also....

Was this model really called the junior over here? It says on the bottom "the hoover model 115" But its obviously the exact same thing as the 119 "junior"

Maybe its a "senior-convertible" thing.

It sure is a fun lil cleaner.

The part number is for that belt is 046550AG, I do believe. You can also try just 46550.

When Hoover went to 8-digit part numbers, for some of the older parts, they threw a '0' in front of them and letter codes at the other end. (AG stands for 'gloss black', JW stands for 'pearl white', etc...) Sometimes they just put a '--' at the end of the part number; ex: 012971-- (Switch for a Convertible--sadly long discontinued)...

Hope that helps. :-)
