Question on White-Westinghouse SpaceMates..........

Does anyone know where I can find the mounting parts (kit?) for attaching the dryer on top of the washer? I'm needing to make a space for a future acquisition and I've seen the SpaceMates stacked before and wondered if there was a kit or parts to do the stack. Also, if you know where I can find a top for the dryer that would be nice too. The set I have was an under counter install originally so neither had a top but I need one for the dryer if I'm going to stack. Thanks much!

STACKING A PAIR OF WH SPACEMATES

The machines made aprox 1970-1988 were easy to just bolt together, there were some little brackets that could be used at the front or rear depending on the exact models you are attaching, we always have these on hand. The metal top is the same top that Frigidare is still using on thier basic front load pairs, we are always recycling new tops as most of the ones we sell are being stacked and you end up with an extra top.

I hadn't realized that tops from current Frigidares could be used on a WW dryer - nice to know. My SpaceMates pair is early 80s I believe - washer is the 3 belt type with the potato pully and drum turns only in clocwise direction - no reverse tumble on this model and the dryer is the match that goes with it.

If you have the mounting brackets and an extra top available I would be interested in obtaining them first of the year after the holidays are finshed.
