"Just What I Needed" by The Cars

I don't mind you coming here and talking in sleep
It doesn't matter where you've been
As long as it was deep. Yeah.

(note to Helen. Just kidding)

today its:

"Heat of the Moment" by Asia on my IPOD

and in quieter moments the theme from "Knots Landing" as I just got the first season on DVD last night.

my cell phone just rang

Now all my co-workers are humming it!

There's a station in Baton Rouge (Red 93.7) that plays the late 60s up to the late 90s. Classic rock and pop and they have a huge library. It's my fav station now.

I've been listening to late 70s-early 80s pop rock, like The Knack, The Cars, Cheap Trick. Not heavy punk but a little on the punk/new wave size.

Oh and that Bon Jovi dude lol.

Bobby Caldwell

`All or Nothing At All'

Been playing his greatest hits today.

Foraloysius, I think that song you mention is `For All We Know', from memory, but I can't work it out because the CD is in my baby's room and he's sleeping. He has `The Definitive Simon and Garfunkel' on while he gets to sleep BTW.

Love this thread! Music second love after laundry.(Oh, and wife, son, family etc etc)

Life is music

Music is an integral part of my life. I love everything about it, the styles, the songs, writing and playing music on various instruments.

I used to say I like everything except rap and opera, but I like opera so now it's everything except rap.

And geez, where would we be without rock and roll?

Only yesterday by The Carpenters

Only yesterday by the Carpenters.
What a terrible waste of life for such a beautiful songbird.
R.I.P.Karen, I for one will always love your music .

When I think of all the summer municipal band concerts...The Typewriter...The Belle of the Ball...Trumpeter's Lullaby (if we had a decent trumpeter)...The Syncopated Clock...SERENATA. I'm going to have a wistful afternoon now.
