GE was involved in RCA at the beginning of its existence in 1919 until antitrust regulations made it a stand-alone company in 1932.  GE took control of it again in 1986 to 1987.  There were RCA-branded appliances produced by GE.

I have a 1992 RCA by GE rim flo washer with a black control panel. It has the newer transmission with the agitator adapter on top to make it a large capacity.
