I'm having trouble finding information about my washer, which I was so happy have purchased with my new home. It looks early 70s to me, but I was particularly interested in learning the date.

It's brown, and it's adorable, and I actually might be interested in selling it as I already have a washer. My house is 1950 and I have a completely original kitchen (aside from the dishwasher, which I believe is mid 60's but that's another post) and I would love if all of the appliances were of the same era. But I just can't help wondering if there was someone in a 70's era house that would appreciate it more.

I'm new to this site, btw, so happy to find it as I'm especially interested in vintage appliances from the early 50's (In love with my Hotpoint range.)

RCA Whirlpool = pre 1968; LPA = 1966

In general if the RCA logo is on the console of a Whirlpool appliance then I believe the newest it can be is 1967. After that they simply said "Whirlpool."

Based on the "LPA" model prefix I believe you have a 1966 washer.

To the group: Please correct me if I am wrong on this.
