FOR THE FEW WHO DON'T KNOW:

Red Skelton was a movie star and comedian on television back
in the 1950's. He created a number of characters and his show was watched by millions. He did this on his show one evening, back when shows were live.

Even if you didn't know who Red Skelton was, because of your Age, or if you are Overseas, I hope that this touches one and all everywhere.

"Good Night Good Life and God Bless"
This was Red Skelton's closing at the end of his Shows.

Peace, Steve

Re: Thanks Gary:

I'm glad that for the very few and far between times that I do attempt to Post something with a Link, that it opened all right.

I'm also so glad for the Positive reply and honestly hope to have more. I believe as I'm sure so many do, that our Countries are very important to us and our upbringing. It is just so sad when someone doesn't care and goes around causing so much harm, because they don't give a "DAMN" about their surrounds or whatever, so they have to cause Grief to others all too often.

Peace on our Mother Earth and a Happy 4th of July coming around the Corner to one and all.

Great Times and Lots of Fun, Steve

Thank you!

Thank you Steve for that beautiful link! I do indeed remember and loved Red Skelton. This not only brings back memories of those terrible days after 9-11, but also of my uncle who at 20 years old lost his life during WW11 as a gunner for the US Army Air Corps. Many thanks again.

Re: I certainly hope that:

there are a lot of our Club Members that are at least checking this Thread Posting out, even if you aren't adding to the Posting. I thought that it would have way more replies to what I felt was so important to America, without saying wrongful or having anyone Over the Pond taking this wrongful.

It makes me think that Bob's Birthday Wishes are more important then the memory of our Nation's Losses, through the Years. I'm glad naturally that Bob is getting acknowledgement of his Special Day, including my Wish to him as well.

It should be the time for us to remember those who have lost their lives to help us in keeping our Freedom here.

I don't want this to sound wrong coming from me like this, but I'm just feeling like if someone else had Posted this, it would have been overflowing with replies in huge numbers.

I do hope that everyone is at least taking your time to listen to this important Message that was explained by Red Skelton during his show of the time.

Peace and Regards, Steve

I remember his tv show when I was a kid, funny as all get out. Does anyone else remember his show? I remember the closing song when the credits started rolling, does anyone remember the name of that song?
Just a shot in the dark.
