Mixing it up :) I'd like to put some of mine up on the cupboards but ours have that molding along the front top edge which sort of obstructs the view of the handmixers. Your orange casseroles remind me of a set I bought for my first "kitchen" living away from the parents.

Is That?

A Silver Dormey I spy?

Very nice!

I keep hoping one will turn up for me. I have two of the white ones, but the chrome one is what I really lust after.

Congratulations.

Question!

Do you have any of those portable mixers that look like Buck Rogers rocketship from the 30s,I have a white one and a chrome one.I think they go under different names. I will look for them tomorrow and see who made them.I luv portable mixers I have several, are there any types you are looking for? Thanks Bobby

To use...

I think the GEs are good as well as the Dormeyer Dormey and the early Westinghouse, The Sunbeams are beautiful but SLOW!As are the Hamilton Beach's.I do have a few governor controlled models, a Kenmore a few GEs and a HB, but for a favorite, it would be any of the late 50s and early 60s Kenmores!

Need to pay closer attention here

I sure noticed the black 12 speed Kenmore,I have one like it in Chrome. Strongly suspect it was made by Hamilton Beach. Clever how the ejector button is hidden. CR down rated that model for needed to use two hands to eject the beaters and having a difficult to read mix-guide printed on the speed control wheel. New hand mixers have regressed in ease of use: less stable heel rests, more difficult to wipe clean, not able to be hung for storage and lack of durability.

Black Kenmore..

Yes it was made by Hamilton Beach, anything with a 400 prefix model number was Hamilton Beach, 116 prefix is Birtman electric, which would be pre 1958.

Iona Mixer!

Hi! I looked today, that Buck Rodgers hand mixer I have was made by Iona,I have a white one and Chrome.I also have a copper Sunbeam mixer portable bullit shape are they rarer than the others. Also Thank you Mixguy!!!!!

Copper Sunbeam!

Very rare in good shape, the clear coating over the copper would get chipped allowing moisture in and then pretty soon you had a mottled green mixer! The Ionas were suprisingly good , made in Manchester Conneticut.
