Re - Hoover w3590 or 3174 twin tub

Hi Does anyone have any experience of fitting universal electronic water pumps where the original pump has failed and is now obsolete. the full pumps for the above models are no longer readily available. The pulley in particular seems to be especially difficult to find. My only concern was matching up the inlet and outlet hoses with the different covers. there seem to be up to three different ones in some of the outfits online
