It was an interesting article. But the hostility being directed at this couple in the comment section is mind boggling.

Actually, the hostility doesn't seem that bad, at least when I checked a moment ago. (There might be a cycle of nasty comments, and then moderators removing the worst). It's nothing compared to what I saw when I made the mistake of reading the comments in one YouTube posted Campbell's Soup ad showing a gay male couple feeding their son soup. And no, the comments weren't talking about how the fathers should be choosing something with less sodium for lunch...
