This is a 1954 DA622L. A few things to note about this particular dryer/model year. The monogram badge on the front is the only year that GE did this on the laundry line. IIRC, it was a carry over from the prior year where on the refrigeration line the same monogram was used to celebrate the 50th anniversary of something in the company - perhaps appliance related? In '53, the TOL 600 series had a script in this place, calling out 'Custom', and the lower end 400 series script said 'Deluxe'. By '55, all monograms and scripts were dropped, sans having 'Automatic Washer' or 'Automatic Dryer' on the chrome strip along the front of the appliance.
1954 was also the first year for the knee knocker door handle, allowing the user to push in on the edge of the handle with their knee to open the door, vs. the '53 has a standard pull handle.
Lastly, what is really odd/strange about the '54 model year was that GE originally introduced the 600 series washers and dryers with the absence of the backlit colored dial that first debuted on the '53 model WA650K, along with the lighted tub. Mid year GE brought back the backlit dials/illuminated tub for one last round on the washers as the WA651L, and backlit dials on the dryer as the DA622L. '54 L models would be the last year GE would light the 600 series controls until variations/flavors changed after the '57 restyling.
