Just a thought...

Edward, I would send a thank-you card to Wes at A Skagit Appliance, with a Post Script that if he finds the motor/clutch, to please give you a call. It must have been mint-looking so I can't believe he would throw it out. It's probably "lost" in a box in his garage or something. He had moved his business to that location within the last year or so.

WOW!! What a rare set to find!! Congratulations Brian, and with the help of the club members you will have this running in no time!

All Is Well in Applianceville

Good news Eddy, I found the bracket and a perfect clutch for your Kelvinator, since Greg has the motor you'll be Dashing and Splashing in that beauty in no time!!! YAY

Overwhelming

You can't begin to imagine how grateful I am for these parts! Thank you so much. Thank you to everyone who has posted your kind remarks as well. Once it's up and running there will be pics and a commentary on it. The Do-All-Dial is quite unique, apparently you can advance or repeat any part of the cycle anytime from what I've read. Can anyone else in the club tell us more about this timer and dial?
Brian, yes I think I will send him a thank you card. I believe as you do, he wouldn't have intentionally got rid of it. He's not been too well lately and he mentioned that some things have just "gone missing".

Hi Eddy ...

Oh my; congratulations on such a wonderful find!!! This will be a most beautiful addition to your collection.

Is this the same Kelvinator that we sometimes see in the POD with the serviceman/installer at the bottom of the basement steps? I think it might be.

Love the look of those machines!!!

Geoff

Eddy, those are just spectacular! I can't believe the condition! What a great style too. Why can't they make things with such great style now? Congrats!

Yay!

Wow, Eddy! Those are beautifl machines!!! What a great addition to your collection. Congratulations! I'm happy to see Greg and Robert have parts for you...you'll be agitating centrically in no time!!! Woohoo!

What a great network! That's a great looking set of machines there. Who would have ever thought that one could find a motor/clutch for such a rare machine! You guys are great. Definitely take some videos of that machine when it's all up and running! Those control panels are awesome!

Astounding

Congratulations! Those machines look so mint in the photo that you'd think they never saw the light of one day, much less a year outside. If you parked a modern machine outside for a year, it'd be a total rustbucket!

I guess you now own one of the most coveted sets in the entire club.

Wasn't it funny how some of those little old ladies were either ghastly afraid to try to use automatics, or else they thought they didn't get clothes clean?

hey eddy, wow !!!!

many congrads eddy, that is the jackpot of all finds, I can't believe it ........... and in such great shape too, all the best of luck with them and the restoration ..........

Eddy, congratulations!!! They look just MINT; what a great year this has been!

Keep us posted on the progress!
