Just purchased the Ge spotscrubber a couple days ago for $50 Manufactured August 1990. It's going to need a new pump though, it has a small leak. Here r some pics. Have a nice morning/day!

Never seen a Ge ff like this one before, if u start the wash cycle and it is filling up it automatically shuts the water off when u lift the lid or the lid switch isn't activated!

Does anyone know if this is the correct size filter flo pan for this machine? For a 1990 model I'm sure it is! I know the earlier 80's ge's have the bigger white ff pans!

I can't quite from your pictures if this is the extra large tub or not machine, every SS I have seen is the extra large capacity washer.
It does seem odd that it stops filling when you open the lid, maybe this was done on early SS washers ?, looking carefully at the wiring diagram and cycle chart on the back of the washer will answer if it was built his way.
Do you have the special SS Mini-Basket for your washer ? I may have an extra one if you need it, the one I have is for the extra large tub with the ramped agitator.

Yes this is the extra large capacity. I know a lot of spotscrubbers have that blue turquoise colored mini basket and turquoise ff pan for the ramp agitators but wasn't sure if it was the regular size white one with the small whit ff pan or what.

I didn't know the spotscrubber washer had a special mini basket with no holes, this is the turquoise mini basket for the ramped agitator right? Also the matching turquoise ff pan, if I'm thinking right the spotscrubber washers came with a white fabric softener dispenser along with the turquoise mini basket and ff pan. When I purchased this machine it didn't come with a mini basket, ff pan or fabric softener dispenser.

Spot-Scrubber Mini-Basket
On SSWs there are no holes in the bottom of the MB, this is because during the SS cycle the water flow is blocked through the FF system during the extended agitation period and if you use the regular MB all the washer will just drain out of the MB.
I believe this was done because of the large amount of detergent that is suggested for the SS-MB wash cycle, if they left the water circulating during this whole process it could build up a huge sudsy mess. You could probably use a regular MB if you sealed up the holes in the bottom of the MB.
The holes were there to get rid of sand and other heavy sediment on the regular MB, if you have a SS washer you may even want to have one of each style MB so you can wash small dirty loads without having to clean all the sediment out of the MB after using it.

I think this is what Ur talking about? I believe this is what came with the washer when it was new plus a white fabric softener dispenser? Found these on a old thread!

Yes when you turn the ss knob it only allows the recirculated water to come in for about 30 seconds and then shuts off during the rest of the cycle.

the timing I believe is 60 seconds, and then shuts off.....this works on any cycle I learned once that selector is set and runs out of time...once spin is engaged, the filter flow resumes as normal...this is not to be confused with a Mini-Quick cycle....there will be two rinses and spin sprays...
the SS cycle for NonSS machines is just an ExtraCleaningCycle, Complete Normal cycle with two rinses and two spin sprays....
You can use the SScycle as a regular cycle as well for a full load, without turning off the filterflo, great for items like towels....
