Recessed Dryer Vent

This afternoon, I recessed the dryer vent into a box contained in the wall. Allowing me to slide the dryer to 2 inches from the rear wall. I can reach the shelving above the machines now. A worthwhile investment, for sure.

How cool......lets see a few pics of your job well done......these are great for tight spaces, and to slide the machine close to the wall

Isn't that the major brand name? I like them better than the ones sold by Lowes because you can get them in various depths and they take the round vent not the oblong setup at Lowes. Which did you use?

The best thing is that they are mountend up higher on the wall and you can get an elbow on the dryer and then a nice straight shot to meet the vent in the box, No more smashing the vent hose! They are standard now in all new construction here in At least Flagler County, Florida.
