Recommended Shipping & Packing Companies

Does anybody have a list of recommended shipping companies who come out an pack and ship vintage appliances? There seem to be a number of posts about negative experiences but has anybody had stellar experiences on large items such as washers, dryers and other vintage appliances when the original packing and shipping cartons are not available?
