Have a question about this fridge. Im going to assume its from the same time the stove next to it was said to be (71-72) because there's a good chance it was purchased the same time as the stove. Also because it looks very much like the 72 Sears Coldspot fridge I got about a year ago; only bigger. At the time I got the Coldspot it was determined it was a Whirlpool product. Ive seen reference here in the past to Roper being made by Whirlpool. Was this the case in that time period? Would this have still been equipped with the Whirlpool/Seeger design rotary compressor? Did Whirlpool built Kenmore fridges have the rotary compressor? When was the rotary compressor last used by Whirlpool?
