Did anybody seen this YouTube Clip from last Sunday's May 23 2010 CBS Sunday Morning program?

I caught a glimpse of the GE Combo that RCD is holding for me. This was a great clip--thanks--and I know where I'm going to stop in if I ever get to Tucson!

Thanks for posting this.

I like the fact that today's refrigerators are using less energy than the ones our parents used.

Cool! But I dont believe thay are more energy efficient than the older ones. And that statement about the 60watt bulb, Well I would have to see it.

Look at the rating plate!!!!!

MOST OF THE SO CALLED "Energy efficient" models are rated at 10 to 12 amps,my 63 Hotpoint is rated at 2.8, Has no heater to warm it up while defrosting,so it has to run an extra hour to compensate for it,I DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING appliance manufacturers tell me!

Just what is VALUE??

My Grandmother's 1954 CROSLEY still runs in the basement, is heavy and well insulated, has no heaters, never sweats, keeps the food cold and unspoiled and cycles fairly rarely.
... And after 56 years of use... THAT is what I call VALUE!
