The original thread passed, but we wanted to remind everyone about the party on Saturday, December 6th. Last year was a great time, and we've had a few fun parties this summer.

Yankee Swap (?? Whaddya think?)

We'd like to get a sense of how many will be able to make it, and how many would like to participate in a Yankee Swap. I remember from the previous thread that Jon "Jetcone" was a yes, and I think Toggle was a no, but I don't remember if there were other replies.

Please reply when you can, and Rich or I will bring this thread to the top as needed in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you so much for thinking of me. I just spoke with John(Coldspot) yesterday and he told me about the party. And this morning a e-mail from you. I'm going to try to figure this out and see if I can get there for at least a couple of hours. It would be great to meet some of the "NorthEast Chapter". I'll stay in touch. Eddie

How was your trip to California? Any news on the where-abouts of your aunt? It must have been a traumatic experience cleaning out her house, but at least I hope you found lots of good things like vintage extension cords & Christmas lights.

As the Christmas get-together gets closer and closer, it's time to think of all the different goodies that everybody will be bringing.

I figured I would get things going. I will be making spinach pies, as they're known in Rhode Island. I think others may know them as calzones. It's a combination of spinach, cheeses, pepperoni, garlic, etc.

C'mon, guys, dig out your copy of the Mary Margaret McBride cookbook (admit it, you all have one) and come up with something FABULOUS!
