Other than a little painting, trim pieces, and doors on the cabinets around the oven, it was done and more than useable for Thanksgiving dinner! And use it we did!!!

Here's the Culinaire, ready for action. Can you guess what action it's ready for?

what in the blazes is that??

P A Grier, they made vacuums too!

What does that do? It looks like a processor of sorts.

Before you ask...

Behind the Culinaire is the vintage goodie that we pulled out of the dump. It's a Westinghouse Power Center from about 1962 with two retractable power cords (for coffee pots, etc.), two outlets, one of which can be timer controlled, and circuit breakers on all.

Chuck, that's the exact same NuTone Center we had (but I think I've already told y'all that). Seeing that knife being sharpened. Well, I can hear all the noise and see the sparks flying like it aws yesterday. And the blender brings back the days when it was used for orange juice. I remember we'd have to make the OJ in two batches and put it in the large container for from the Waring blender lol. Ours also came with the meat grinder, which caused the demise of the unit because my mother stuffed too much too hard down it. She'd take left over roast and grind it and make it into a kinda roast meat salad sandwitch (blech). I'm almost crying because of the memories and it being thanksgiving and remembering years past with our family at the old house I basically grew up in. Thank you for all the memory--tearss running down my cheeks.
