Removal of Easy Spindrier Spirolator

Hi,can anyone please give me any advice on how to safely remove my Easy Spindrier's Spirolator from the wash tub.I recently bought this machine and
it needs some TLC and a re spray to bring it back to its former glory.
I unscewed the top part,but cannot get the spirolator removed.

After you get the cap off, it should lift up off the drive block. Its probably rusted on. How about some PB-Blaster?

REMOVING THE STUCK EASY AGITATOR

Yes you can squirt some penetrating oil on the agitator drive block. Then Take the palm of your hand and pound down on the skirt of the agitator on alternate sides and see if this will loosen it. If this does not work and your agitator is aluminum you can heat the top couple inches with a propane tourch and that should free it.
