So as a child my boyfriend slid into his kitchen and broke the glass over the controls on his mother's oven. She loves this oven and had used it with the damaged panel for 30 years! Even as an antique dealer herself, she wasn't able to find the correct replacement glass. As an avid researcher, I set out to find a replacement for it.
Honesty this was the hardest project I've set out to do for myself. It took about 2 months of basic research just to determine the part number of the control panel and another 4 to find it. I did so via multiple search alerts set on selling sites and it was good old craigslist which I found the missing piece.

Looks like new again, This oven is closer to 1970 than 1962, probably 1966-69, Phil R can tell for sure, I hope she gets many more great years out of it.

Thanks for pointing that one of my posts helped you. As John said, this oven is likely from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. It's a 1966 "K" model (these were made from somewhere in 1965 to 1972). While the model numbers remained the same throughout those years, there were still variations during the production period of this model.

Avocado was introduced in late 1967 on 1968 models and the GM badge on the control panel glass was also introduced for 1968 models. The clock dial has also changed to the style your oven has for 1968 and so did the filigree in the door.

I'm glad you found the matching control panel glass for the oven. Good research work avoided having to replace one more of these 24" wall ovens! And when you do replace with a new one, you often have to do big modifications to the cabinets! The good thing about this oven is that it's a fairly simple model and that most critical parts are relatively easy to locate when they need to be replaced. The control panel glass however isn't one of those parts that are easy to get!

The illustration in the manual Robert posted shows the differences between the early "K" models to the later ones. It's hard to see on the picture but the filigree has a vertical pattern on the 1966-67 versions while the styling update from 1968 changed to the horizontal pattern. The clock doesn't have the same background and needles, the dial glass is slightly different without a GM badge. The GM badge was stuck on the doors of many 1967 GM appliances and in 1968, the GM logo was integrated to the control panels of appliances next to the Frigidaire badge. Functionally, they didn't get much changes however.

I just got an Avocado fridge which I thought was a 1968 model from the Craigslist ad. I couldn't see any listing of a 14 cu-ft bottom-freezer model in my books so I was kinda wondering if it had been carried over for a few years. When I picked it up, I was surprised to see a badge that looked pre-1968 with no GM logo and I couldn't see the model number which is normally stamped at the back. I didn't bother with it much. After showing it to my friend Steve on my way back home, he pointed to me that it had been repainted and he could see the model number under the avocado paint which ended by a "K" (FPI-14BK). Unlike the non-self-cleaning wall ovens, this particular 1966 refrigerator model wasn't carried over for 1968.

Now, I'm wondering if I should repaint it in a correct 1966 color or keep it as it is! Tahitian green would be correct and close to avocado, Matador red would also be nice or I could go with Turquoise and match it with a 30" range I have from the same year... I'll leave it like that for now!
