Does anyone know if u can repair or how to repair a ge filter flo pump? Mine had water leaking out of the water relief hole and the filter flo stream was not flowing. I read online that when there is water leaking out of the water relief hole it means ur pump is worm out. But i thought id get some of ur guys's opinions!

FIXING A FF WATER PUMP

You could theoretically fix one of these pumps if yours was one that was still screwed together. I have no idea where you would get the needed parts and considering that new pumps can still be had for as little as $20 you would have to have a lot of spare time on your hands to even bother.

if it leaks.........time to replace.....just simpler.......most of the newer pumps are white....and when you see this little streak of black running down....its soon to fail.....better to replace now before it ruins the clutch and motor...

Replace, dont bother repairing

I had a 30+ year old basic model filter flo in a rental unit that did the same leak out of the weep hole. It is not hard or time consuming to replace the pump. Hardest part I found was getting the big spring clamp off and back on the flexible coupling without the right tool. Easy to access everythng right thru the removable back panel.

Pump replacement

Hello everyone, I've already replaced my pump. I took it off my gold hotpoint washer n which the pump was brand new, I put this new pump I ordered off eBay on the gold hot point About 6 months ago. Then about a week and a half ago i put it on my ge ff So it's almost new. I created another thread about a week ago regarding The flow of the filter flo stream wasn't very strong. But one of u guys said different pumps have different flowing power.
